Alternative Gift Fair -The Alternative Gift Fair offered us the opportunity to reach out to our community, and the world, to share God’s love by directing some of our Christmas giving to those who are in need. Through your generosity;
We will forward $1930 to St. Katharine Drexel Shelter . These funds can support meals, clothing items and much more for distressed families who are cared for at the shelter. St. Katharine Drexel Shelter will provide a safe and structured living environment for singles and families experiencing homelessness. Once in our stable environment, they will have access to programs and support that offer short term crisis intervention and long-term goal planning with the ultimate goal of self-sufficiency.
You have provided $1875, enough to buy lumber and other materials that will make 11 beds for children who do not have one. Sleep in Heavenly Peace. Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a national nonprofit with chapters spread across the United States and into Canada. Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a registered 5019© (3) non-profit driven by volunteers. The volunteers building beds and deliver them to children in need. All donations will be used to help Fond du Lac area children.
You have provided $1315 for clean water around the world. See For Mothers Who Hope: Safe Water in Ocoto Alto, Peru – Water Mission for examples of how your donations will be helping others obtain clean, safe water. Water Mission can provide safe water solutions to individuals and communities around the world. When we work together, everyone can enjoy safe water for the rest of their lives!
