Sermon Audios

Sermon: “The Temple of the Holy Spirit”
Theme: Generosity begins with being generous with our physical needs and grateful for what God has given us.
Purpose: The congregation will begin a groundwork of generosity living in health and appreciation for our physical bodies.
Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 6:12-20 The body is the temple off the Holy Spirit Treat your body as holy.
Proverbs 3:1-3, 7-14 Hold onto the teachings of God, They will be the source of your good health and your prosperity.

Questions:
What does it mean to care for our bodies as a holy temple? What does it mean that the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit? In what ways are we insulting God by treating our bodies with contempt? What are some basic things we could do that would improve our health? In what ways is our physical condition related to our spiritual life? In what ways does pain, injury, and inactivity affect our relationship with God? What is Jesus’ desire for us in terms of our physical condition?
